Danilo Minnick

Volunteer Services Manager, National Sept. 11 Memorial & Museum

Charged with creating, developing and managing its volunteer program, Danilo Minnick joined the staff of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in 2011 as its Volunteer Services Manager.

Danilo's background in volunteerism began with VISTA in FL, and then with the Peace Corps where he worked in West Africa. His return to the U.S. was followed by graduate school and recruiting volunteers at the New York Regional Office of the Peace Corps. Before joining the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, he was the Director of Volunteer Services and Student Recruitment for Literacy Partners, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to teaching adults how to read and write, and worked as a consultant in education and non-profit management for private clients.
