David Yassky is a creative fashion director, image maker and brand strategist with over thirteen years of dynamic experience combining the worlds of fashion, retail, editorial, and ecommerce. His intuitive approach to the creative process, deep understanding of trend, and keen sense of brand, make him a unique asset that artfully straddles the creative and business worlds. Known for storytelling, concept ideation, and his editor's vision, David helps shape brand voice and delivers exceptional creative assets for clients. After graduating from The Parsons School of Design with a degree in Design and Management, David spent five years as a Fashion Market Editor at Women’s Wear Daily and W Magazine covering a variety of women’s markets. Proving he could apply his unique approach to an array of businesses, David went on to consult for brands like Tory Burch, Anthropologie, Gap, Reem Acra and Amsale. His exposure to the digital world and his deep entrepreneurial drive propelled him to launch The Aisle New York- a critically praised ecommerce and editorial platform dedicated to the world of bridal and special occasion, for which he served as Founder and Co-President. There, as a tastemaker and expert David made on air appearances including The Martha Stewart Show and ABC News, was quoted in publications including The New York Times and Vogue.com, and spoke at NYU’s Stern School of Business. Currently, David is the Fashion and Editorial Director of the ecommerce fashion and lifestyle site IDEEL.COM (formerly IDEELI), where he sets the seasonal trend direction, and the overall creative strategy for the women’s, accessories, men’s and home businesses.
