Bitter, yet lovable, music snob; Worried philosopher
David Schwartz is a compulsive collector of passions, and has a bizarre collection of DIY books and magazines to show for it. He initially studied jazz guitar performance at the University of Denver, which turned him into a bitter, yet lovable, music snob (Go ahead. Say the name “Kenny G.” See what happens.) Inexplicably, he left school before graduating to perform and teach in his hometown of Chicago, and then somehow ended up in Madison, Wisconsin selling health insurance for a year. Seeking atonement, he moved to Maine with his wife and 12 guitars and earned a degree in Philosophy from the University of Southern Maine. David enjoys watching David Lynch’s Dune, studying cephalopods, and arguing with street preachers. His debut TV appearance was as an audience member for the Judge Mathis show.
