David Darius Barron is co-founder of The Chai Spot in Sedona, Arizona, with his distinguished wife, Khalida Brohi. The Chai Spot is a social business that promotes cross-cultural dialog and experience through the art of authentic Pakistani chai and by investing 50% of its profits into rural communities in Pakistan. David previously served as an IT project manager and web developer for the multi-national energy firm, Iberdrola. He is a fellow of NewGround (a Jewish-Muslim partnership for change), a member of the Institute for the Advancement of the Social Sciences, a custodian of the Louis Barron Electronic Music Archive, and a part of the Ikar community in Los Angeles. He holds a B.A. and M.A. from Boston University in Logic Systems and Computer Science.
