David Brendel, MD, PhD is a Boston-based executive coach who empowers high-level business leaders and professionals to manage stress, avoid burnout, lead effectively, achieve peak performance in their work, and reach fulfillment in a well integrated professional and personal life. He is founder and director of <a href="http://www.leadingmindsexecutivecoaching.com" target="_hplink">Leading Minds Executive Coaching</a> and co-founder (with Ryan Stelzer) of <a href="http://www.strategyofmind.com" target="_hplink">Strategy of Mind</a>. David also provides executive coaching services for Boston-based <a href="http://www.camdenconsulting.com" target="_hplink">Camden Consulting Group</a> (where he is a Partner) and for The Leadership Development Group (based in New York City). He is a career assessment partner for Essex Partners in Boston, which provides consulting services for successful individuals navigating a major career transition. Trained at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Brendel is a clinical <a href="http://www.drdavidbrendel.com" target="_hplink">psychiatrist</a> who has published extensively in the medical literature. With a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Chicago and certification from the <a href="https://www.appa.edu/probren.htm" target="_hplink">American Philosophical Practitioners Association</a>, he also provides philosophical counseling services to executives and high-level professionals who wish to deepen their self-awareness and clarify their goals and values. David integrates mindfulness strategies into his coaching practice, in close collaboration with his colleague <a href="http://www.sukhayoga.org" target="_hplink">Emmie Roe Stamell</a> who is a meditation and yoga specialist.
