David Eisner

David Eisner was CEO of the Corporation for National and Community Service – which oversees AmeriCorps, VISTA, Senior Corps and other elements of the country’s investment in service. He now heads Repair the World, a national Jewish volunteer service organization. Please see his submission below that details why and how episodic volunteering should be valued and has tangible benefits, both for communities being served and for the volunteers doing the service.
