David Nassar

CEO, Hotspot Digital

David Nassar is the founder of Hotspot Digital. He is a campaign strategist with a focus in digital communications. He currently consults on new media to several non-profits, including the US Center for Citizen Diplomacy, the Arab American Institute and the Alliance for Youth Movements. Previously, he served as VP of Strategy for Blue State Digital. Just before his work with BSD, David served as executive director of Wal-Mart Watch, which has been called the most successful corporate social responsibility campaign in recent history. In addition to his domestic experience, David has extensive international experience, particularly in the Middle East. He has worked or consulted in Yemen, Lebanon, Jordan, the Palestinian Authority, Egypt and Algeria for a variety of organizations but most prominently the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs and USAID. David's writings have been published in The Chicago Tribune, the Miami Herald, the Baltimore Sun and the Christian Science Monitor.
