Founder and Chairman, The Organization of Black Designers
David Rice is the founder and chairman of the The Organization of Black Designers (OBD) which currently numbers 8,700 members nationally and lists a database of more than 26,000 African American Designers and other designers of color. OBD produces DesigNation®, the national conference for designers of color.

Mr. Rice holds a degree in industrial design from the internationally renowned College for Creative Studies, (CCS) in Detroit, Michigan where he attended under full scholarship. His post graduate work is in marketing with an emphasis on entrepreneurial development. He has also completed the Harvard University Entrepreneur Development Program.

Mr. Rice is a design diversity consultant and he is available for consultation and lectures.
