David Sterritt, chairman of the National Society of Film Critics, was film critic of the Christian Science Monitor for almost 40 years. His reviews and articles have also appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Boston Globe, PopMatters.com, IndieWire.com, and many other publications. He's talked movies on TV shows like Nightline, Charlie Rose, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, The O'Reilly Factor, and Hannity & Colmes, and on radio programs like All Things Considered, Talk of the Nation, The World, and To the Point. He's a former film professor at Columbia University and Long Island University, and his books include Guiltless Pleasures, The Films of Alfred Hitchcock, Terry Gilliam: Interviews, and The B List.
