David Sterritt, chairman of the National Society of Film Critics, was film critic of the <em>Christian Science Monitor</em> for almost 40 years. His reviews and articles have also appeared in the <em>New York Times</em>, the <em>Washington Post</em>, the Boston Globe, PopMatters.com, IndieWire.com, and many other publications. He's talked movies on TV shows like <em>Nightline</em>, <em>Charlie Rose</em>, <em>Countdown with Keith Olbermann</em>, <em>The O'Reilly Factor</em>, and<em> Hannity & Colmes</em>, and on radio programs like <em>All Things Considered</em>, <em>Talk of the Nation</em>, <em>The World, and To the Point</em>. He's a former film professor at Columbia University and Long Island University, and his books include <em>Guiltless Pleasures</em>, <em>The Films of Alfred Hitchcock</em>, <em>Terry Gilliam: Interviews</em>, and <em>The B List</em>.
