David Saddington

Climate consultant & enviropreneur

David has acted as an environmental consultant for countless organizations and is a regular commentator on contemporary climate issues within academic arenas and international media outlets. He has pioneered climate change education and succeeded in implementing it on the UK National curriculum. He is now working with the UNFCCC to implement wider education reforms and re-energise the conversation around climate change. David has studied the science and policy of climate change at Durham University. He led a groundbreaking glacier survey expedition to Vatnajökull, Iceland, and studied the business case for going green at PwC. He is now an expert contributor the the sixth Global Environment Outlook report by the UNEP. He is a TEDxTeen speaker and is the founder of ROOTS, an environmental social enterprise which creates eco gardens from un-used urban land across northern England. www.davidsaddington.co.uk
