Dawn spent fifteen years in corporate management before pursuing work in public advocacy nearly two decades ago. She and her husband are small business owners and run a small manufacturing facility where every product is made in the USA. Dawn previously was the Editor and owner of a community newspaper, and she has blogged for Huffington Post since 2008, often covering Arizona elections, politics, and foster care and adoption issues. Dawn studied in both undergraduate and graduate studies of psychology, political science, religious studies, cognitive science, and statistics. Dawn was raised in the hills of Tennessee and has since lived all over the country. She and her husband currently reside in Arizona.
