Her reportage has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Psychology Today and Psychiatric Times, where she is a contributing editor. Her work has been thrice named as notable essays of the year by Best American Essays, and nominated twice for a Pushcart Prize. She is working on a memoir entitled "Tell Me I'm Still Breathing: A Memoir of an Anxious Childhood."
