Deborah Szekely is recognized as the founder of the modern health and fitness movement. She is an entrepreneur who has held leadership positions in business, government, and the non-profit sector. She has served on health and fitness councils under presidents Reagan, Ford, and Nixon, and was the President of the Inter-American Foundation for six years under Bush and Reagan. Currently she is a board member of the Center for Science in the Public Interest and the Congressional Management Foundation.
