Derek Bishop is a musician and art director living in New York City. HIs music is a seamless (and shameless) blend of retro-disco, 80s synth pop, and 70s funk. He shoots his own photos and videos (both to save money and to be a control freak.) He learned piano playing along to Stevie Nicks records as a kid. He has designed over 25 Broadway cast albums and spent 10 years at Soap Opera Digest making things pretty. He dresses like Mad Max in a production of Oliver Twist.
