Deyanira Del Río is the associate director of NEDAP, an economic justice advocacy center based in NYC. She also serves on the boards of directors of the Lower East Side People's Federal Credit Union, the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions, and New Immigrant Community Empowerment..
Deyanira has worked for financial justice and bank accountability for 15 years. She is the recipient of the Revson Fellowship on the Future of the City of New York; Coro Immigrant Civic Leadership Program fellowship; El Diario/La Prensa's Mujeres Destacadas (Outstanding Women) award; and Closing the Racial Wealth Gap Thought Leader Fellowship from Insight Center for Community Economic Development.
