Diana Mendley Rauner

President, The Ounce of Prevention Fund

Diana Mendley Rauner is president of the Ounce of Prevention Fund, a public-private partnership dedicated to unlocking human potential by preparing children born into poverty for success in school and in life. With a conviction that education begins well before birth, the Ounce works to advance quality early learning through research-based programs, training, and policy initiatives—demonstrating effective solutions with original research, creating and supporting early learning programs for at-risk children and their families (including the Educare Learning Network of schools across the country), supporting practitioners with high-quality professional development, and advocating on behalf of young children. As the Ounce’s President, Diana’s leadership is informed by her prior experiences in private equity and early childhood research, as well as her parenting of six children.
