Diana Pankevich, PhD

Director, Science Policy and Advocacy, Pfizer

Diana serves as Director for Science Policy and Advocacy at Pfizer. In this role Diana is responsible for the Value of Medicines platform and managing policy issues in support of Pfizer’s research and development enterprise, including topics related to clinical trials, patient centricity, and expanded access. In addition, she supports the Oncology business unit and is responsible for science policy topics related in immuno-oncology. Before coming to Pfizer, Diana worked at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) where she supported President Obama’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST). At OSTP, Diana was involved in a wide range of topics, including private sector climate change mitigation, bolstering forensic science, technology for clean drinking, and gene editing. Prior to OSTP, Diana was a program officer for the Board on Health Sciences Policy at the Institute of Medicine (IOM) where she staffed the Forum on Neuroscience and Nervous System Disorders. Diana has a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in neuroscience from the University of Rochester and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Boston University.
