I am a 57 year old mother of three. My middle child Ross is 26 and gay. He came out at 18. I am one of the founding members of The Mama Dragons, a group of mostly Mormon women dedicated to creating a more affirming world for our gay loved ones and those who care deeply for them. I live in the SF Bay Area. My husband Tom and I were married in the Oakland temple 33 years ago. I am an active church member working with the children in my local ward. I have worked at Children's Hospital Oakland as a pediatric oncology nurse for 35 years.
