Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, CNA Financial Corporation

Dino is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CNA Financial. He also chairs an Executive Committee which is responsible for strategy, results and oversight for all business units of CNA Financial Corporation. Dino retired from The Chubb Corporation in November 2015, where he had served as President of Commercial and Specialty Lines of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies and Executive Vice President of the parent company, while leading that company's global Information Technology function and Innovation. From 2011 through 2013, Dino was President of Personal Lines and Claims and also had responsibility for several corporate functions: Information Technology, Communications, Corporate Development, External Affairs and Innovation. In June 2008, Dino was appointed Chief Administrative Officer and retained the position of Chief Claim Officer, a position he assumed in 2006. In 2004, Dino was named New York brokerage Zone Officer. He was the Chief Field Operations Officer for Commercial Lines from 2001 to 2004, after serving as the business unit's International Field Operations Manager. He managed Chubb's Multinational Resource Risk from 1995 to 2000. After joining Chubb in 1986 as a commercial lines underwriter, Dino held several positions in Chubb's Toronto and Montreal offices. Dino earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance and economics from McGill University in Montreal and is a 1999 graduate of The Wharton Business School Executive Management Program. He serves on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement, USA, and the Board of Trustees for The Institutes. Dino formerly served on the Boards of Directors of Applied Systems and RAND Corporation's Institute for Civil Justice, and on the Board of Advisors of Catalyst Inc.
