Dom Phillips is a British freelance journalist who first moved to Brazil in 2007, living in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and now Salvador. He reports regularly for The Guardian and has written for the Financial Times, New York Times, Washington Post, Bloomberg, the Daily Beast, soccer magazine Four Four Two and energy newswire Platts among others. Phillips is currently an Alicia Patterson Foundation fellow and its 2021 Cissy Patterson Environmental fellow.
