Don Hill

Don Hill was chief development officer at Mercersburg Academy, a boarding school in Mercersburg, PA for 30 years before retiring in 2007, having previously served 8 years as the school’s director of admissions and as a math teacher and coach. He grew up in Early, Iowa and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in math and math education from Morningside College and Rutgers University. He taught in public high schools and at Parsons College in Iowa before coming to Mercersburg. Hill was the 2007 recipient of the Peter Bell Crow Memorial Award, presented by The National Association of Independent Schools and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, for accomplishment and professionalism in independent school development.
