Donna Mebane

Author, mother, and talent consultant for a major financial institution.

Donna Mebane is the author of the fact-based-fiction novel, Tomorrow Comes—a daring coming-of-age book in which an ordinary teenager must come to terms with her own mortality, the loss of all she once knew, and an other-worldly set of rules.

Donna found a passion for writing through her battle with loss.

Based on a true story of love and family, grief and joy, Tomorrow Comes (Starshine Galaxy, 2014) is inspired by the sudden and unexpected death of author Donna Mebane’s own daughter. Donna breathes vitality and warmth into Emma’s character, and you’ll find yourself routing for Emma as she learns to navigate her new world with courage, humor, and an indomitable spirit.

Tomorrow Comes has won eleven book awards from six major competitions in seven different genres. Awards include Best First Novel by NextGen Indie Books and Eric Hoffer Grand Prize Finalist.

Donna lives with her husband in suburban Chicago where she heads up talent consulting and engagement for a major global financial institution.
