He has also served as foreign policy advisor to former US Senator Gary Hart, Congressional Director at the US Information Agency and Politcal Director at the Democratic Leadership Council, and as Executive Vice President of the Howard Gilman Foundation, overseeing the Foundation's domestic and international successor generation leadership and policy programs at White Oak.
