Dr. Carol E. Quillen

Dr. Carol E. Quillen is the 18th president of Davidson College (Davidson, NC). Since taking office in 2011, Quillen has sought to reimagine the liberal arts within the changing landscape of higher education and ensure educational excellence and access for all talented students regardless of their financial circumstances. Her emphasis on Transition to Impact initiatives empowers students to develop compassion, analytic rigor, creativity,
resilience, and moral courage, and enables graduates to lead in the service of something larger than themselves.
