Associate Vice Provost / Title IX Coordinator at the University of Central Missouri

Dr. Bowman is the Associate Vice Provost for Student Services/Title IX Coordinator at the University of Central Missouri. Before coming to UCM, Corey worked as both a hall director and academic advisor at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Since 1996, Corey has worked at UCM in a variety of areas including Residence Life, the University Union, Student Affairs, and he has served as an instructor in the College Student Personnel Administration program. In his current role, Corey's primary responsibility is to oversee student services, student support initiatives and behavioral intervention, the university’s emergency and crisis response, and Title IX coordination. He works closely with students, parents and faculty on campus issues and student success. Bowman earned his doctorate in educational leadership and policy analysis at the University of Missouri - Columbia. He also studied at Miami University in Ohio, where he received a master's degree in college student personnel services and a bachelor's degree in sociology.
