Dr. Dori Steinberg

Dr. Dori Steinberg is a researcher, registered dietitian, and advocate for eating disorder prevention. She is currently VP of Research at Equip, a company delivering evidence-based virtual treatment for eating disorders. Prior to joining Equip, she was an Associate Professor at Duke University and Director of Duke’s Global Digital Health Science Center, which develops and evaluates behavioral interventions that leverage emerging technologies. After recently receiving treatment for her own eating disorder, she shifted her work to promoting a weight inclusive approach to care and feels passionate about scaling evidence-based treatments that improve access for eating disorder treatment. Dr. Steinberg earned her B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University, her M.S. in Public Health from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
