Dr. Eurmon Hervey, Jr.

Dr. Eurmon Hervey, Jr. currently serves as executive vice president at Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, FL. Prior to his role at Edward Waters College, he spearheaded the Community College Initiative of the University of the District of Columbia, collaborating with city leaders and educational experts to create a two-year institution that expands UDC’s capacity to serve the District’s residents. A nationally recognized motivational speaker and institutional advancement professional, he brings to this position broad experience in strategic planning, fundraising and development, government relations, and academic strategy. In addition, he provides a deep understanding of the District’s educational needs and the demands of the rapidly changing higher education sector.
