Katherine Sharp Landdeck is an historian specializing in the 20th Century, especially the 1930s and WWII, with a particular interest in aviation history. She has written for "The Atlantic," and the "Washington Post," and was nominated for an Emmy for her work as producer of the documentary, "Silver Wings, Flying Dreams," on the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) of WWII.
