Dr. Lewis Mandell is a financial and behavioral economist who served as Professor and Dean of Business at the University at Buffalo. He is a former director of the Survey of Consumer Finances and is the author of 22 books, his most recent being What to Do When I Get Stupid – Protecting our Finances for the Inevitable Decline in Our Financial Cognition. Dr. Mandell’s smartphone app proposal won the Innocentive (crowd-sourced idea) award for retirement decision-making.
