Dr. Rich Haney

Dr. Rich Haney serves as the Vice President for Educational Affairs at the College of Lake County located in Grayslake, Illinois. The College of Lake County is a comprehensive community college serving students at three campuses. Dr. Haney is the Chief Academic Officer and provides leadership for all academic programming at the College including adult education and workforce development. He joined the College of Lake County in 1999 as the Dean of Business and Industry Services following leadership positions at Parkland College and Southwestern Illinois College. In addition to his academic experience, Dr. Haney has an extensive background in developing and implementing training and education partnerships between employers, educational institutions, business associations, international partners, and community/economic development groups. Dr. Haney serves as the Chair of the Board for Global Corporate College, an organization consisting of over 40 community colleges engaged in providing national and international customized training solutions for global companies. Global Corporate College has provided training programs in all 50 states and 11 countries. He received both his master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
