Dreama McFadden

Night Shift ICU Nurse, Herbal Remedy Guinea Pig, Treatment Autonomy Advocate, Learner, Thinker, Blogger, Exaggerator

Dreama resides in the hills of Appalachia with her 2 beautiful daughters and 2 bulldogs who look just like her. She is a cat farmer and critical care nurse who loves working the night shift (not really, but it pays big bucks) and entertaining her coworkers with her trucker mouth. She is a chronic pain sufferer who spends much of her spare time learning about alternative and herbal remedies. She would someday like to become a witch doctor, as she has already far surpassed the intelligence of a regular doctor. One of Dreama's biggest passions at the moment is the fight to keep Kratom legal. It has played a huge role in the treatment of her pain condition, and she believes it has the potential to help so many more people with a variety of problems. She is an advocate for plants as medicine, and believes everyone should have the right to find and use the treatment that is best for them, whether it is prescription, herbal, nutritional, or spiritual. If eating, drinking, or smoking something that grows out of the ground makes a human happy and healthy, no one should take that option away. Dreama enjoys a challenge, but she enjoys Candy Crush more. She has an insatiable appetite for learning new things, and embraces her reputation amongst her coworker as a fountain of useless information. Her short-term memory sucks. So does her long-term memory. She suffers from adult ADD, however her family probably suffers more than she does. She has a condition known as Congestive Brain Failure. She also likes to make up diseases sometimes. Her bucket list includes getting published on Huffington Post and trying mushrooms. She is halfway there....
