Dulce Saenz

Director of the Latino Organizing Program at Conservation Colorado, appointed by Governor to CO Civil Rights Commission

Dulce Saenz began organizing for immigration reform in 2009 on her college campus when she co-founded the student group, University of Denver Students for Comprehensive Immigration Reform. She organized her college peers for 2 years until she graduated and started advocating for education equity in southwest Denver. Dulce is now the Director of the Latino Organizing Program at Conservation Colorado. She has previously been appointed by the governor to the Colorado Civil Rights Commission; by the mayor to the Denver Latino Commissions and is an alumni of various leadership development programs, including the Circle of Latina Leadership, Front Line Leaders Academy and Emerge CO.
