Dr. Darryl Weiman is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He did his undergraduate training at Northwestern University where he majored in Biomedical Engineering. He went to Medical School at Saint Louis University. He did his General Surgery training at the University of Chicago and his Cardiothoracic training at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York. While maintaining an active practice in cardiothoracic surgery, Dr. Weiman obtained a legal education at the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis. He passed the Bar Exam for the State of Tennessee. He continues to practice as a cardiothoracic surgeon and now does research and publishes on health care issues.
