E. Gordon Gee is president of The Ohio State University, a world-class research and land-grant university with six campuses, 65,000 students, and 48,000 faculty and staff. He returned to Ohio State in 2007 for his second term as president—having served first from 1990 to 1997. Widely considered among the most experienced and respected leaders in higher education, Dr. Gee has been instrumental in moving Ohio State from excellence to eminence. In 2009, Time Magazine named him one of the top 10 university presidents in the United States.
