Designer on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Author, Activist

Born in East Los Angeles, Eduardo’s multicultural experience of being raised in a predominantly Asian and Hispanic community has had a profound influence on his personal and artistic expression as well as his identity.

Eduardo Xol is best known as a designer on ABC’s Emmy Award winning and globally syndicated television show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Xol has also had enormous success as the author of two books. His award-winning first book Home Sense, was quickly followed up by Extreme Entertaining Made Simple, which shared everything from recipes to low budget tips for throwing the perfect event.

In addition Eduardo has made guest appearances on many television shows, has been noted in countless newspaper and magazine articles and covers, including being named one of the 50 Most Beautiful, by People en Espanol and among the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in America by Hispanic Magazine.

As a renaissance man, Eduardo Xol, Inc. currently represents Eduardo’s wide range of talents by managing projects ranging from producing music to designing parks for schools. In spite of his busy schedule, Eduardo brings his wealth of diverse artistic training, education and years of education activism to his role as founder of the ALUMI Media Group, an organization that brings alternative education through media to students who might otherwise not be given the experience. Xol has become a spokesperson for many companies like Sears, Ford, Lowes, DIRECTV, Hayneedle.com, Aol.com just to name a few. Currently Xol is making a new name for himself on the other side of the camera developing and producing content for television and the internet.
