Elana Christiansen, LMFT

licensed therapist, tech nerd, world traveler

Elana is interested in a million and one things. One of her greatest joys is finding ways to do them all. As a psychotherapist, most of her hours are spent helping people to heal their past traumas. Elana has counseled children and families in the foster care system learning the complexities of family systems and intergenerational trauma. She also gratefully serves in the California prison system with the Freedom to Choose Foundation teaching male and female inmates communication and life skills. These profound experiences, along with her background in spiritual psychology, have enabled Elana to see the innate goodness and beauty in every being and to successfully support others through painful and difficult situations with empathy and wisdom. At 19 years of age, Elana had a beautiful baby girl. Raising a child as a single mother was one of the hardest things that she's done but has also proved to be the most amazing. In her teens and early 20s, anxiety and depression had taken over pushing Elana towards her own inner work, ultimately leading to an ever growing spiritual connection. Elana is currently working at a trauma treatment center in Pacific Palisades, CA, specializing in Brainspotting and Neurofeedback.
