Ellen is an arts writer and curator who earned her MA in art history at University of California, Santa Barbara. She uses a multi-sited research approach to discuss modern and contemporary art and visual culture in Africa, America, and Great Britain.

Some of her projects include analyzing alcohol advertisements in post-independent Ghana and exploring collective American memory in the work of LA-based artist Frohawk Two-Feathers.
