Elliot Mincberg is a senior fellow at People For the American Way and People For the American Way Foundation. Formerly, Mincberg served as the organizations’ senior vice president, general counsel, and legal director. He has also served as Chief Counsel for Oversight and Investigations at the House Judiciary Committee and Senior Counsel, General Deputy Assistant Secretary for Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and as a partner at Hogan and Hartson. Mincberg helps to guide and oversee the organizations’ work on religious liberty, church-state separation, free expression, and other constitutional law issues.
