Founder and Executive Director, Grandma's Gifts

Emily Douglas-McNab is the Founder and Executive Director of the volunteer-run nonprofit Grandma’s Gifts, an organization she started in memory of her Appalachian grandmother after she lost her battle with breast cancer. While Emily started this organization in 1993, at the age of 11, millions of dollars in goods, services, and opportunities have gone to Appalachian children, teachers, schools, veterans, food pantries, libraries, domestic violence safe havens, free dental clinics, and animal shelters in-need. Emily obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Miami University, a Master’s degree in Human Resources and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, and has multiple certifications in HR, process improvement, strategic planning, and social media.
