Emily Hoerner

Emily Hoerner is currently an active board member, co-chair, and treasurer of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), Utah Chapter. She is also an AFSP National Advocate, an active Out of the Darkness Community Walk committee member, and an active International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day committee member. Emily participates in local and national suicide prevention training, local media interviews, and legislation in support of suicide prevention. She works full time at Washington Federal as the Loan Operations Compliance Specialist for Utah and Nevada. Emily resides in West Jordan, UT, with her husband Bart and their Cocker Spaniel, Jaxon.
