Emily Horowitz was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and currently resides in Scotch Plains, N.J. She is a freshman at American University in Washington, D.C., studying within the School of Public Affairs (SPA) and is part of the SPA Leadership Program. She has worked for legislators and served as a representative at the Youth Conference on National Affairs. Her interests include civil rights and the Constitution.
