Emily Kelting, a former staff writer at Self magazine, is the author of Little Winners: Inside the World of the Child Sports Star. An award-winning landscape designer, she is the owner of Great-Scapes Landscape Services based in Fairfield County, Connecticut. She teaches photography and landscape design at the New York Botanical Garden, and is a photography judge for the Garden Club of America. Many years ago, she was a professional figure skater with the International Holiday on Ice, and was one of the skating carrots in "La Revue de Bugs Bunny."
