Emily Parker

Emily Parker, a fellow at New America, is the author of “Now I Know Who My Comrades Are: Voices From the Internet Underground,” (Farrar, Straus & Giroux). "Now I Know Who My Comrades Are" tells the stories of Internet activists in China, Cuba and Russia. Emily is a former member of the State Department's Policy Planning Staff, and is also a former writer and editor at The Wall Street Journal and a former editor at The New York Times.
