Emma Saloranta Winiecki is the Global Coordinator for Digital Development at Plan International and Co-Founder and Co-Host of a podcast called The Mom Pod. She is a native of Finland, but spent the past 7 years living in the U.S., India and Tanzania. Emma is particularly passionate about promoting women's and girls' access to a life that isn't guided by lack of options, poverty and discrimination but instead by equality, empowerment and agency. She believes in the infinite power of small kind gestures as a tool to promote positive change. After many years abroad, Emma has recently returned to her roots and currently resides in Helsinki, Finland with her husband and toddler son.
