Erdoan A. Shipoli

PhD in PolSci and IR; Associate Dean at Virginia International University, program director at FEBA and a visiting scholar at ACMCU at Georgetown University.

Erdoan A. Shipoli, has his Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations and is the Associate Dean of School of Public and International Affairs and Virginia International University. He is also a visiting scholar at the Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University. He works as the Program Director at the Federation of Balkan American Associations in NJ, USA and also the CEO of Istanbul Leadership Institute in Istanbul, Turkey. Erdoan has served as an organizer, moderator and writer working with various organizations encompassing a vast range of fields. With a great interest in civic services, Erdoan founded many NGO’s ranging from community aid organizations to those aimed at training future leaders. From an academic standpoint, Erdoan has published many articles and has also written and contributed to newspapers, semi-academic journals, and on-line platforms. He has presented papers and taught on topics within the field of International Relations and International Security. Aside from writing, Erdoan has assisted on many research projects. He is currently working Studying Violent Extremism. Erdoan is fluent in 5 languages: Albanian, English, Bulgarian, Turkish, and Serbo-Croatian-Bosnian.
