Eric Gorovitz

Attorney; Fmr. policy director, Coalition to Stop Gun Violence

Eric Gorovitz, J.D., M.P.H., is a principal at Adler & Colvin, a San Francisco law firm advising nonprofit organizations, where he specializes in the political activities of tax-exempt organizations. He is a graduate of Cornell University, and earned joint degrees in Law and Public Health from the Georgetown University Law Center and the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. He has lectured on gun policy at Johns Hopkins University, the UC-Berkeley Haas School of Business, Stanford Medical School, and elsewhere. He spent twelve years drafting and advocating for responsible gun laws at the local, state, and national levels. He was the founding Policy Director of the Million Mom March, and Policy Director at the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence and the Trauma Foundation.
