President of Sol Economics
Eric Leenson is President of Sol Economics, a firm that creates strong links between socially responsible enterprises throughout the Americas. He has been involved in the fields of socially responsible investing (SRI) and business for more than 30 years, serving as the CEO of Progressive Asset Management, the first full service brokerage in the U.S. to specialize in SRI, founded in 1987.
Currently he serves as a Coordinator for the international project “ Socially Responsible Enterprise and Local Development in Cuba” established in 2009. Additionally he serves as a strategic advisor to Forum Empresa, based in Santiago, Chile, and is a member of the International Advisory Board of Instituto Ethos of Brazil, one of the region’s leading socially responsible business organizations.
Eric received his B.A. from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs of Princeton University. He was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study in Chile, and subsequently received his MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
