works as a freelance consultant and Research and Policy Director for Red Umbrella Project. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the George Washington University and a BA in Gender Studies from Rutgers University. She has worked for the Williams Institute and the National LGBTQ Task Force. Her research has focused on economic insecurity, the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community, urban policy, and disparate mental and physical health outcomes of minority populations. While in school, Erin worked for the Obama Administration in the White House Office of Presidential Correspondence as a Civil Rights Portfolio Professional.
