Erin Koffman is an attorney, writer, and devoted mom. Shortly after moving to the D.C. Metro area, her youngest daughter was tragically diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 4. She was in the middle of writing her first novel when struck with the unfortunate news. During that time, her writing efforts turned to sustaining a blog on CaringBridge at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/skylersmith1, where she detailed the treatment of her daughter, the issues families face when a child is diagnosed with cancer, and how the illness has affected their entire family unit. By the grace of God, her daughter is now in remission and Erin is refocusing on her writing and the practice of mediation.
