Erin Sharaf

Recovering academic who believes that narrow boxes are for shoes and not for people. Igniter, explorer, mindful warrior, free range human.

Erin has been an educator for over 20 years, most recently as a professor of health sciences. She has extensive training in mindfulness and the mind-body connection through the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Healthcare & Society and the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind-Body Medicine among other places. She has been teaching mindfulness based interventions since 2006. Erin practiced as a primary care provider for 10 years and did her Physician Associate training at Yale University School of Medicine. She has a master's degree in Integrative Medicine and is a former professional figure skater. She has been interviewed on NPR, featured in Mindful magazine and spoken at large conferences such as SXSW. She is a Martha Beck life coach specializing in empowerment and clarity for women.

Her great joy is getting to share the transformative practice of mindfulness with others. You can often find her dancing tango, on her yoga mat or wandering the world.
